Bleak Day in Idaho

Well, the rain did stop overnight....and turned to snow. Yup, SNOW! The very thing we were hoping to completely avoid for the next 7 months or so. We did make an attempt to go up to Yellowstone, thinking we would just drive through the park to view animals anyway. And clearly, there would be no crowds. We got about 30 miles NW to Ashton and got on Hwy 20 to Yellowstone. Thus far it had been just a dusting of snow but at that very point, it became a blizzard. Visibility was maybe a quarter mile and it was accumulating fast. Since it was clear that we wouldn't even be able to see the animals, we turned around and headed "home".  It's still coming down pretty good so it looks like an afternoon of laundry (accumulating as well), reading, and Pot Roast for dinner. Maybe a nap. Yeah, definately a nap!
