Good Decision!

Sooo glad we decided to stay in Boise today. Gorgeous blue sky, high about 70, and a wonderful hike in the foothills of Boise. We drove up to a trail I found on-line called Burnt Car Draw. I have no idea what any part of that name means. It was a horse path that meandered through hilly meadows and overlooked Boise. Very pretty and very quiet. It was hard to determine just how far we walked. The entire way out was uphill, of course that meant the entire way back was downhill (much better!).

We were going to go to another trail but truth is, Grandma was pooped! And though Grandpa denied it, he looked pretty tired too. We decided to drive toward downtown Boise and discoved another amazing restaurant called "Fork". Again, so impressed with Boise in general but especially the lovely, and safe, downtown. We were good today...I had an amazing salad (field greens, Oregon pears and hazelnuts, roast chicken and champagne dressing). Jeff had a "Grown-up Grilled Cheese". Deliciousness!
We found our way out of downtown and home with ease. That's the other thing about Boise. It is very easy to navigate. I feel like we already have a pretty good lay of the land. Jeff got the cable hooked up in the RV so I can watch the Packers. And that will pretty much conclude our stay here in Idaho. Tommorrow we head to Bend (Jeff had another Bend beer at lunch today, from Cascade Brewery, that was outstanding. Now we have another reason to go to Bend). The trip there will be pretty long and I don't know how long we will stay. Thinking 2-3 nights but if the weather cooperates, maybe longer.
Head West Young Man!!!
